Mix flour, salt, baking soda, cocoa and spices in a bowl and set aside. Beat with mi xer butter, cold tea, egg, sugars and molasses. Slowly stir the dry mix into the wet mix, stir constantly. Form into a ball, work it thoroughly (you may need to add more flour). Wrap and refridgerate for several hours or overnight. Before cutting remove from fridge for an hour or so. Cut into quarters then take each quarter, roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutters (cookies are rolled thinly). Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes. Makes approximately 4 to 5 dozen bases on cutter sizes. These are hard crisp cookies. Decorate with icing if you wish.
